| Hi everyone, I sure hope you will
consider contributing a square for the Christmas Quilt at Carol's Place.
- This is what you should do if you want to
participate. PLEASE BE SURE YOUR SITE IS ONE WHICH IS APPROPRIATE FOR FAMILY VIEWING
BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO JOIN THE QUILT. THEN....
- Create a square 130 pixels X 130 pixels or use an
existing square of these dimensions.
- name the square when you save your work. i.e.:
susiesquare.jpg -- christ2001sq.GIF -- (etc.)
- Upload your image file to your home page.
- Because of the increased
activity on many mail servers of Virus infested files, I have determined not to open any
attached file from my email. Therefore, this is the procedure for participation:
- Send an email to me at this link.
Identify the subject line like this: CHRISTMAS QUILT SQUARE REQUEST
- Give me the URL of the graphic file on your server so
that I can copy it from there to my hard drive. i.e.: http://www.carolabbott.net/nativitysquare2.jpg
(this one is mine, if you would like to have it for Your Quilt, just let me know by
email and we can exchange.)
- Be sure to include a URL link address to
your home page when you email me so I can make the link to your
image.
- If you do not have an active home page and would like
to use your email address for people to contact you, I can use that as a link for the
square. Just let me know if that is what you want.
- If you just want to have a square displayed with no
link, that is also an option.
- If you do not have a home page or any way to make a
graphic quilt square and would still like to participate. Contact me by email and we
can work out the details. I love to make squares and could make one for you to use
from any image that is available on the web for public domain use, free of charge.
(Sharing is what Christmas should be all about!)
This is an on-going project which will remain on my
site all year long, since I think the Love, Generosity and Spirit of Christmas should be
celebrated every day of the year!
